IndianOil Paradip Refinery celebrates 76th Republic Day

The 76th Republic Day was celebrated at IndianOil Paradip Refinery with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. On this occasion, Mr Kausik Basu, ED&RH, Paradip Refinery unfurled the National Flag at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose (NSCB) Stadium of Paradip Refinery Township. The National Anthem was sung at the stadium with all Paradip Refinery families. Addressing the gathering, Mr Kausik Basu, paid homage to the great leaders and freedom fighters who were instrumental in enactment of our constitution. He further added that Paradip Refinery is fully focused on inclusive growth of the region and projects like PX-PTA, FQUP, SRU, Paradip Petrochemical Complex etc. will pave the way for scripting the industrial growth story of Odisha. On this occasion, Mr Kausik Basu handed over 10 nos. of e-rickshaws for use at nearby areas which will reduce pollution at Paradip as well as will provide unemployed local youths alternate employment opportunities. The Republic Day celebration program concluded with cultural shows redolent with patriotic colours by DPS, Paradip students at NSCB stadium. Embracing the spirit of compassion on Republic Day, Paradip Refinery distributed essential items to nearby orphanage and old age home, spreading joy and smiles among those in need.
