Very pleased to announce the opening of MAYFAIR Bay Resort, Paradeep. Inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi ji, Hon’ble Minister of Industries, Shri Sampad Chandra Swain ji, and graced by the presence of Hon’ble Member of Lok Sabha, Shri Bibhu Prasad Tarai ji, this resort — offering state-of-the-art facilities and world-class hospitality — adds a new landmark to the promising coastal city of Paradeep, contributing to its growth in many meaningful ways.

The hospitality sector plays a silent yet powerful role in transforming regions — creating livelihoods, encouraging enterprise, preserving culture, and showcasing the soul of a place to the world. Paradeep, with its immense maritime, industrial, and tourism potential, truly stands as the gateway of Odisha’s growth. Through this resort, we humbly hope to play a small part in that journey — welcoming the world to experience Odisha’s charm, warmth, and gracious spirit.

It has long been my dream to open a property here in Paradeep. This is the ninth MAYFAIR property in Odisha, and every one of them reflects our commitment to celebrate our State and its people. MAYFAIR is an Odisha-born, Odia-founded, and Odia-run brand that carries the soul and spirit of Odisha in every nook and corner of its existence. 

From our architecture and cuisine to our art and hospitality, we take immense pride in presenting Odisha’s heritage to the world. Promoting our culture and traditions has always been at the heart of everything we do — for it is through our roots that we find our identity, and through our identity that we find our purpose. Every MAYFAIR property is, in essence, a tribute to Odisha — its people, its grace, and its timeless spirit.

This resort is also a humble tribute to my mentor, Biju Babu — a visionary whose contribution to Paradeep is beyond words to express. It was his far-sightedness, courage, and love for Odisha that gave Paradeep its identity and purpose. His dream transformed this once-sleepy coastline into a thriving gateway of progress and pride for our State. Everything Paradeep stands for today — its port, its industry, its promise — reflects the undying spirit of Biju Babu. I feel blessed to have walked a small part of his path, guided by his ideals and inspired by his vision.

Paradeep, which falls under Jagatsinghpur district, also holds a very special personal significance for me, as my ancestral village, Kaduapada, lies in the same district. To see this region flourish fills me with a deep sense of pride, connection, and emotion.

Today, on this momentous occasion, I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Odisha for their unwavering love, trust, and blessings throughout this journey. Every milestone we achieve belongs as much to them as it does to us. Their faith continues to inspire and strengthen our resolve to serve this land with sincerity and pride.

And to my MAYFAIR family — you are the true pillar of my strength. Everything that we have built and achieved stands as a tribute to your dedication, passion, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
