IFFCO Paradeep Unit observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 on 3rd and 4th November
Paradeep, November 4: IFFCO Paradeep Unit observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 on 3rd and 4th November with the national theme “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility (सतर्कता हमारी साझा जिम्मेदारी)”, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to transparency and integrity in every sphere of work.
The observance commenced on 3rd November with the Integrity Pledge administered by Shri Rakesh Kapur, Joint Managing Director, IFFCO. The session was followed by the formal inauguration of Vigilance Awareness Drive 2025 through an online webinar where Shri Kapur addressed all IFFCO employees nationwide and urged them to follow ethical values and remain conscious in organisational practices.
Ms. Pooja Kohli, Chief Vigilance Officer, IFFCO, addressed the gathering and read the message of Shri Dileep Sanghani, Chairman, IFFCO, while highlighting the collective role of employees in strengthening vigilance.
During the two-day programme, a vibrant series of competitions were organized across various participant groups, showcasing creativity and enthusiasm. Quiz competitions were held separately for employees and dependent ladies (spouses of employees), while a collage-making contest was conducted exclusively for dependents of IFFCO employees. An English essay writing competition was organized for dependent children studying in Classes IX to XII, and a Hindi essay writing competition was held for employees. A poster competition took place at DAV School, IFFCO Paradeep, for dependent children, and a multilingual slogan competition in English, Hindi, and Oriya added further excitement for employees. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation and remarkable talent from all categories.
The concluding programme on 4th November marked the presence of Shri P.K. Mahapatra, Unit Head – IFFCO Paradeep, who was the Chief Guest for the closing ceremony. Addressing the audience, he stressed upon the importance of everyday vigilance, honesty and ethical working culture for building a stronger organization and nation.
“We must convert awareness into habit and habit into culture,” Shri Mahapatra said while encouraging participation.
Shri Rakesh Pandey, Chief Manager (Vigilance), presented the summary of the events conducted during the drive and winners of the various competitions were felicitated during the ceremony. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri S.P. Rath, GM(Nano).
Special appreciation and thanks were extended to all committee members for successfully organizing the two-day Vigilance Awareness programme and ensuring active participation from all employees and their dependents. Further, heartfelt thanks were also conveyed to Shri Rakesh Pandey for effectively sensitizing employees and dependents on the importance of vigilance, integrity and ethical practices in day-to-day responsibilities.
